This global law firm with offices in 13 countries is seeking an experienced library/information management professional to join their experienced, friendly professional team in the London Office. This is a new role and you will work developing the Research Services Department.
Major responsibilities include:
Performing extensive legal, business and other research and enquiry work for attorneys and legal assistants in London and throughout the firm;
Providing global research support to various practice areas
Assisting with maintenance of the London Research Services intranet page
Research knowledge and skills, including familiarity with legal databases, the research life cycle and the delivery of research support is essential.
A Library or relevant Information Professional degree or post-graduate qualification or relevant prior experience in a library/information services role in a law firm.
At least two years’ experience in a similar role within a law firm with US / international law firm experience highly desirable.
An enthusiastic and flexible attitude is essential along with strong communication skills and ideal knowledge of either French or German.
