Account / Sales Manager - £25-30k plus £30K bonus - Haywards Heath
We are looking for a passionate Account/Sales Manager who will partner with our customers and ensure their long-term success.
The industry is quite unusual so to enable you to understand the product you will visit various plantations situated on the Ivory Coast, Ghana and Nigeria.
There will be limited travel in this position with the post being based at our client’s locations on the outskirts of Haywards Heath.
The Account Manager role is to manage a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new opportunities which would require research, networking and attending various specific associations.
This is not a hard-selling cold calling role, you would research new contacts and build relationships over time.
The main criteria are to buy the products from suppliers and sell to customers over the world. They would require a candidate with good numerical skills to manage which time is best of buy and sell to ensure the maximum profit.
This is a new position so the opportunity to build the role and grown within the job is down to you.
As the role is split into Account Management and Sales there would be a large bonus based on the profits of the business, this may be as much as £30K per year if you work hard and give a 100% commitment to the company.
We are open to skills and industry background; the key is getting the right personality to work in a busy team.
Proven experience of Account Management is essential, we would consider candidates from any type of sales role, relationship management, trader/sales background, recruitment, external sales etc.
You will have the ability to communicate with clients, present and influence. This would be presenting to a several board members of a corporate business or a team of designers who wish to use the product.
You will be confident, able to make decisions, have strong numerical skills, common sense and the drive and rapport to build relationships.
We would envisage that you would travel 2/3 times a year, one trip could be one to two weeks long, the other trips would likely be days.
The basic salary is negotiate depending on what the candidate can bring to the table aswell as the additional bonus which could be as much as £30K per year plus 20 days paid leave and bank holidays.
