A Site Manager needed to look after multiple sites in Central London for a residential contractor.
Your new company
A small London construction company who undertake single dwelling residential refurbishment and new build projects with values typically between £150,000-£400,000. They handle the project through design and architecture stage, all the way to the construction process on site. They often have projects that include basement excavation, or the underpinning of structures in order for the refurbishments to take place. Due to growth within the business they are now looking to take on a permanent Site Manager.
Your new role
You will be Site Manager looking after multiple sites in Central London. Main responsibilities will include ensuring all projects run to time and budget, ensuring health and safety on site, and overseeing the sub-contractors and labour working on the projects. You will be working closely with the Director and the Project Manager on the schedule of works and any design changes that may be made during construction.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to hold a valid SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS Card and First Aid at Work qualification. Ideally you will have come from a trade background, and you will have experience running residential projects as number one. You must have some experience with interpreting drawings to construction, critical paths, and working to deadlines set out in a schedule of works. You will need to have a current driving license to travel between sites.
