Sales Agent / Business Development Manager
We are a an official distributor for a fitness product looking for a business development manager to join our small Bristol based team.
The product is an exciting and hugely popular fitness device used by the biggest sports stars in the world with an impressive existing sales record. We are now looking to bring a skilled and experienced applicant who has strong commercial experience dealing with retailers in UK & Europe to continue and expand on the existing success of the product.
Salary: Negotiable Basic + Commission on Sales.
- Proactively seek new clients in the UK & Europe and convert lead opportunities
- Target major department stores, retailers and specialist distributors
- Build and maintain new & existing relationships; new relationships consist of inbound sales enquiries and also sourcing new leads through cold calling and networking.
- Attend trade shows and networking events to procure new business, products and distribution outlets for selling to.
- Strive to over achieve & delivery excellent customer service to all clients
- Create new marketing strategies to grow brand awareness through social media and other avenues that will better position the brand to be seen by potential customers.
- Day to day duties of the business including distribution/shipping of products and various other tasks.
- 2+ years in strong B2B sales or product management experience preferably within the fitness industry.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Excellent relationship and communication skills for both internal and external partner companies
- High attention to detail
- Proactive and self-directed
- Driving License Required
- Strong existing relationship with target audience (large fitness retailers/distributors)
