The Accounts Receivable Assistant is responsible for managing all aspects of cash collection for a specific portfolio of customers. Working closely with the Credit Control and Customer Services teams the successful candidate will promptly respond to and resolve outstanding cash queries.

Candidates will be expected to commute to and work from our office in New Barnet.

Key duties include:

Cash Allocation
- To run daily bank statements across six different currencies and export to Excel.
- Prepare excel statements ready for cash allocation.
- Ensure all remittances are electronically filed from email to relevant folders.
- Match remittances to payments for allocation.
- Liaise with the Credit Control team on any payment queries.

Cash Reconciliations
- Enter incoming cash daily onto cash books.
- Balance cash books daily and weekly to ensure all cash matches.
- Balance all month end reconciliations and send to Head Office.
- Ensure all not posted cash is posted by month end.

The Candidate:

Essential experience and requirements for this role:

- At least 2 years' of Cash Allocation and/or Accounts Receivable experience
- Thorough working knowledge of SAP
- Data entry and processing skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
- Able to work well both independently and in a team
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to plan and prioritise own workload
- Strong communication skills
