This is an exciting opportunity to join the Europe's leading food intolerance testing laboratory. Based in York and established in 1982 they provide a specialist personal health laboratory testing service. They are committed to pushing the boundaries of scientific research into the way food affects their bodies. Their small team is enthusiastic and dedicated to offering a first class customer service within a team-working environment.

The Graduate Systems Programmer will support the IT team in building new systems and processes whilst maintaining existing ones to support the rapid and continued growth of the business.

Core Tasks

To design, develop, test, document and support applications within the company across their UK site including:
- Working with involved parties to analyse business requirements and create a specification for required projects (along with IT Director)
- Complete proof of concept to verify if a solution is practical with current systems and resources
- Based on the specification, design, implement and document a solution using Microsoft technology stack including:
- C#
- .Net Framework
- SQL (including Azure Database)
- Azure
- Test solution against specification.
- Analyse and eliminate security risks in any published program/webpages as a result of the above solution
- Provide full documentation to allow ongoing maintenance of solution.

Required experience:
Programming: 1 year

37.5 hours per week. Full time and permanent.
31 days holiday per year (including bank holidays)
