As a member of an award winning technical team, the primary duties of this role will be to provide technical support in the 3D, jewellery and ceramics workshops.

The role will include supporting the academic teams and learners in specialist practical activities, maintaining and preparing equipment, installing exhibitions and shows, and building sets and props for our theatrical performances. We are committed to safe working practices, therefore an understanding of risk assessment, safe systems of work and COSHH are key to this post.

The successful applicant will have significant experience of woodworking, and the safe use and maintenance of both fixed and portable equipment. Practical knowledge of jewellery making and ceramics would be beneficial, as would experience of working in an educational or instructional environment. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, creative, solution focused, and a real team player.
