Your new company
We are working with an organisation in Cambridge that are looking to recruit a Head of Capital Projects to take on a large and transforming Estates and Facilities department. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly experienced and growing team of professionals, in order to create and develop a leading maintenance and projects function. You will be leading on the development of estates infrastructure and managing a range of estates maintenance issues.

Your new role
As Head of Capital you will be an appropriately qualified Project Manager with significant experience ideally gained in a healthcare and lab setting. As Head of Capital you will take responsibility and accountability for delivery of major engineering capital projects, backlog maintenance projects and infrastructure works. This job will include the project management of business case development, specification development, design and construction phases of schemes, right through to completion.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate might come from an engineering or a similar construction related discipline. You will educated to degree level or equivalent and will also be a full member of an accredited professional body such as CIBSE, RICS, CIOB. It will also be highly beneficial if you hold a project management qualification such as Prince2.
