PMO Planner permanent position available in Birmingham with a large scale organisation

Hays are partnering exclusively with a well-known, large, local company to recruit a PMO planner as part of a newly appointed PMO team. This is a permanent role and you will be expected to start no later than April.
Your new role
As PMO Planner, you will adopt a critical role within the Portfolio Management Office who define, implement and enable the project and programme management environment. You will supply the planning expertise and support to the wider team. You will be at the forefront of creating and maintaining the overall view of the present and future achievements of the established capital programme and portfolio pipeline. Additionally, you will support the PMO Manager to define and implement a demand management process/system. As part of your responsibility is to establish and maintain the integrated planning activities across the portfolio, you will routinely work across and coordinate plans within a number of Civils, Engineering, and Business Improvement programmes.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for an experienced and tenacious planner. To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate examples of clear communication skills, strong collaboration and the ability to coach and train Project Managers using MS Project. You will have previously adopted a planning an coordinating role at Portfolio level monitoring civils and engineering projects. Additionally, a PRINCE2, MSP, or P30 qualification is essential.
