My client is a leading provider of Hard and Soft FM services encompassing Engineering, Cleaning, Catering Front of House and Security to the UK market. They are responsible for delivering these services to a wide range of clients including Defence, Central Government, Local Government, Retail and Health. They are currently looking to recruit a Technical Facilities Manager to join the team on one of their flagship Healthcare contracts based in Central London. The TFM will have overall responsibility for the total facilities services provision within the building(s), together with the co-ordination of environmental, health and safety and emergency/disaster planning policies and procedures. The successful candidate would be expected to manage a team of directly employed personnel for both soft and hard service and sub-contractors to complete the planned and reactive maintenance requirement to a number of buildings, and there would be a strong emphasis on the hard services experience. The buildings range from clinical to administration areas, with each building having its own unique range of service provided. We provide a quality of service, in line with our contractual service level agreements and the client expectation.

The ideal candidate will have proven ability to motivate and lead a multi-skilled team in the support of Total Facilities Management and the management of operational incidents. Previous TFM , (in particular Hard Services) experience within a service provider in a similar environment is essential for the role. You will be able to demonstrate experience of budget management and control of small revenue works, together with the ability to deliver monthly numbers at senior meetings with an explanation of variances. You will ideally be a qualified engineer or have extensive experience of managing a hard services provision and also possess extensive health & safety experience/knowledge. The role will suit an individual who has a strong understanding of the healthcare arena, in particular HTM's and Medical Gases.
