Conduct risk and Treating Customers Fairly are top of the FCA's agenda at the moment and for many organisations in recent history, third party relationships have become increasingly more important in providing a strategic and competitive advantage.

I'm currently working with a global and highly respected healthcare provider which is one of many organisations concerned with reputational damage and regulatory action as they increasingly rely upon these third parties. My client employs over 84,000 people and has 32 million customers across 190 countries.

The Condut Risk Officer will sit within a central control hub in Brighton and will work closely with the UK market to ensure appropriate oversight and governance of all third party distributors across the business. These distributors will predominantly be insurance brokers and insurance sales agents and you will be responsible for ensuring they are conducting themselves in the right away and "selling" the company in the right way and in line with FCA requirements.

In order to be successful in this position, you will have to be an individual who has extremely strong communication skills as dealing with and liaising with senior stakeholders across the business is imperative. You must have a proven track record of finding solutions and delivering on process improvements as well as engaging and influencing people at all levels of a business.

Key Requirements:

- Background in an FCA regulated environment
- In depth knowledge of conduct risk and/or treating customers fairly
- Experience of ICOBs and FCA Handbooks
