My client, a rapidly growing industry-leading software company is looking for an additional Project Manager. They are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a minimum of 2 year's project experience to join a small team who are responsible for working on several products in a relaxed, friendly and business focused environment. The team that you will join deals with several products and applications used by several large clients based in the UK, USA and Europe. This would give you the opportunity to deal with different customers, with contrasting organisational cultures and problems.

Responsibilities: This role requires someone who is eager to learn and has the confidence to work in a highly technical IT environment, with the ability to distribute the business value of technical issues.

Communicate daily with the internal development teamsssful candidate will: Take ownership of managing the business' software changes for several major clients Manage and track software developer workloads

Liaise on a day to day basis with clients, sometimes travelling to UK based client sites

Provide initial validation of incoming development requests, distinguishing those requiring further information and facilitating this with customers

Manage the upkeep of tasks and issues within a web-based project management tool

Organise and attend regular project meetings to discuss project progress, risks and issues - both internally and externally

Create and manage the upkeep of project related documentation

Work under experienced project managers to learn how to take ownership of the entire project life cycle

Undertake relevant project management training as required

Essential skills: To apply for this role, you should demonstrate the following:

Ability to interact with clients in a professional and friendly manner in order to develop and maintain effective long standing working relationships

An understanding, and recent hands-on experience, of project management processes

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to analyse and improve processes Educated to Degree level.

Confidence to work with your own initiative and ability to find solutions independently when required.

Desirable: An interest in technology

Experience of working in the IT industry

Experience of Atlassian JIRA Experience and/or training in Agile development processes

Resource Planning Financial Management Experience and/or training in PRINCE2
