Business Development Manager (Contract Hire - New Business)

Home Based - Covering South of UK

- £50,000 - £55,000 Basic Salary (depending on experience)
- £70,000+ OTE

About our Client:

This is a sought after position within the new business team of this well-known and respected contract hire/leasing business who sit in the top five of the FN50. Our client is looking for a new business hunter to primarily target the mid corporate market (including public sector).

About the Role:

It's essential that the Business Development Manager has a proven track record of signing contract hire/leasing and fleet management deals across both Car and LCV through self-generated prospecting.

The Business Development Manager will:

- Prospect for new business specifically targeting corporate end user and multi marque fleets.
- Demonstrate to prospects an in-depth understanding of the contract hire/leasing market and close profitable business for our client.
- Thrive on finding prospects, presenting and closing deals.
- Have experience of negotiating with senior level executives.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts for monthly and quarterly analysis.
- Qualify and develop prospects using a range of sources.

Desired Skills & Experience

The Business Development Manager will have the ability to create strong customer relationships with key stakeholders and influencing through knowledge at a senior corporate level.

In addition to this, the Business Development Manager will have:

- A detailed understanding and working knowledge of fleet finance methods including their structure and the features and benefits of each product.
- A working knowledge of Whole Life Costs.
- In depth understanding of contract hire, finance lease and contract purchase.
- Strong communicator and influencer up to Board level.
- A proven history of over achieving on unit target.

And have:

- Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence and prepared to travel extensively across a regional territory.
