Our client is lookingfor an experiencedTechnical Paraplanner to supporttheir growing, financial organisation.

Role Responsibilities

- Research and prepare client files for submission to Business Assurance, including full completion of suitability letters and the necessary research required for each product.
- To work closely with the management team and also provide support to the administration support team.
- Responsible for client records ensuring they are carefully entered onto the system.
- Ongoing training and annual retesting of product knowledge.
- Assistance with new business submission.

Job Skills

- Technical paraplanning will be required, therefore a strong working knowledge of the regulated financial services market is a must.
- A strong technical background to allow client facing advice reports to be written.
- Data base and client management.
- Be a strong communicator, both written and verbally. Attention to detail.
- Having strong planning and organisational skills.
- The ability to prioritise and work to important and strict timescales.
- Team member is a must to work in and busy and vibrant office.

As a Partner Practice of St. James's Place Wealth Management, previous experience with St James's Place would be beneficial but not essential.

Role Requirements

Hold a minimum FPC 1,2,3 (or equivalent). Ideally Level 4 Diploma or at least working to the Financial Planning Diploma.

Essential previous paraplanning experience.

Our clientspecialises in the following areas:

1. Flexi-Access Drawdown

2. Personal Pension transfers

3. Defined Benefit transfers

4. Investments, i.e. ISAs, OEICs, Investment Bonds to include gains calculations.

5. Trusts/Inheritance Tax calculations.

6. All types of life assurance to include company, i.e. Keyman and Relevant Life

7. Specialised Investments, i.e. Venture Capital Trusts (VCTs), Enterprise Investment Schemes (EISs), Inheritance Tax Planning Schemes

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week
