GPW Recruitment is currently recruiting a full time permanent Purchase Ledger Assistant in Trafford Park, Manchester.

As the Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will join our clients Finance team (11 colleagues). Working office hours (Monday to Friday), 40hrs/wk (typical working hours are between an 08:30am start to a 17:30pm finish).

The main duties include the allocation and reconciliation of the company bank accounts, matching purchase invoices to orders and delivery notes, logging and distributing invoices for authorisation and coding and inputting purchase ledger invoices and expense claims onto the system.

To be successful in the role the individual must be happy, helpful and smiley in character, possessing a 'Can do approach' to their work and personal life (in order for the individual to provide an consummate level of service to our customers). Previous experience of working within a dedicated Finance team in a business to business setting is required and you must be able to demonstrate where you have provided a great level of service by going the extra mile in your previous roles.

Essential experience of:

- Working in a dedicated Finance team environment, with previous Purchase Ledger experience
- Dealing with Business payment enquiries, raising queries and making payments
- Providing a bespoke level customer service
- Recording information manually or via system, following phone calls
- Ability to multitask, such as using a phone and computer simultaneously
- Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word and Outlook)
