Technical Account Manager

The Role

A simple premise, as part of a wider sales team you will be responsible for taking Google App products to your designated accounts- meeting targets and deadlines with a consultative and technical approach.

Your main duties will include; -

- Maintaining customer accounts and upselling through the portfolio of Google recommended partner software - Ringcentral, AOdocs, Cloudlock etc
- Supporting existing customers with a thoroughly consultative and technical approach. You will be an expert in your field with an in depth knowledge of cloud based applications

For hitting targets there will be the potential for global travel to go on (in their words) an adventure, networking events, advertising shows and exhibitions. Getting paid to take city breaks. It can't be all that bad.

The Company

Having been established for 8 years they know what they do and they do it extremely well, in fact they are the Google Apps top partner in the UK and within the Top 10 in the world.

Having grown to a substantial size and having acquired another business they are looking for a Technical Consultant join the team to help continue to push forward in an ever changing global environment. These guys have taken the 'Google' approach and offer flexible holiday time, your birthday off work, relaxed dress code, company pension, private healthcare, pool table, table tennis. the list goes on!

Required Skills and experiences

- Presales/Account management experience within a Cloud environment.
- A strong technical background is a MUST, let's face it the more you understand the product the better placed you are to sell it.
- Knowledge of the full product set of Google Apps would support your application dramatically but they would consider a background in Azure or Office 365
- Ability to up sell the product portfolio using strong technical acumen.

The person

Brace yourself for a cliché overload. dynamic, ambitious, driven.. Zzzzzzzzzzz ... Sorry I even bored myself then.

This is a mixture of technical and a sales role so you will probably fall under one of the normal clichés but all it takes is a strong product knowledge and the right attitude, if you only have a slight understanding of the Google Apps product set this role probably isn't or you, but if you have an excellent product knowledge along with the ability to up sell and account manage then apply now!
