Key Account Manager - Cambridge - Digital Imaging & Optical Instrumentation - £30-35K basic + (OTE £10K) + Additional Benefits (Fully expensed car, lunch allowance, Employee assistance program, discount on company products, Insurance, Life Insurance, Private Healthcare, Dental Scheme, Childcare vouchers)

The Instruments Division in the UK is experiencing a sustained period of growth and is seeking a Key Account Manager to join them in Cambridge, responsible for driving sales growth. Sales experience is highly desired, although, not essential.

Your responsibilities:
*Promote and sell products within current portfolio within the designated territory or as directed by management.
*Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets in value and/or in specified units.
*Develop new business and interact with the other members of the Instruments division to foster growth for the benefit of the company and its customers, meeting the company's philosophy of 'trustworthiness and creativity'.
*Manage key accounts within the territory, while increasing sales across the territory through active prospecting.

You will require:
*Life Sciences degree or similar qualification, or minimum 1 'A' Level in a science. GCSEs to include English, maths and a science subject at grade C or above.

Professional skills & Know-how
*Ideally Capital equipment selling experience
*Experience of using MS office, CRM systems &/or SAP software
*Strong understanding of the lab environment, microscopy industry and live cell imaging biological applications.

Personal skills
*Naturally outgoing, friendly and personable
*Able to work both on own initiative and also as part of a team
*High degree of personal organisation and competence
