The Customer Care & Payments Assistant is responsible for liaising with our recruitment consultants/account managers to deliver a world class professional customer service to our contractors. This role is responsible for talking contractors through online systems set up and resolving queries, usually over the phone but sometimes via email. You will also be responsible for processing invoices.

The role:

" Support contractors and recruitment consultants on all queries in a prompt, professional, proactive manner.

" Respond to all internal and external related queries in an effective time period and provide assistance where required

" Reconcile any discrepancies or errors identified by conversing with all relevant parties in an efficient and professional manner

" Provide assistance and support on the ETZ system to ensure users maximise usage of product features

" Establish and maintain excellent customer relations with all internal and external stakeholders, customers, and clients

" To manage a large amount of incoming calls and emails and take the extra mile to engage and help your customers.

" Suggest changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions.

" Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and working to establish a positive rapport with every caller

" Meet personal and team targets

" Provide ad hoc finance department support when required

" Name all invoices accurately received by email, and efficiently process within a specified time frame

" Check and match all invoices and time sheets via ETZ

" Check, match and process contractor expenses in line with contract terms

" Issue remittance advice

Qualifications & experience

" GCSE Maths or equivalent
" GCSE English or equivalent
" Proven written, numerical, communication, and verbal skills
" Used to a fast moving, pressured environment, possibly providing administrative or customer service support in sales or service delivery
" Experienced and confident in using a variety of computer packages, including Microsoft Office
" Experience in a customer service based environment
" Experience of working to deadlines
" Able to communicate effectively to all stakeholders, managers and clients, from straightforward queries to complex issues.
" Strong phone contact and listening skills

" Have a basic understanding of Accounts Ledgers/Invoicing
" Experience in database and fulfilment systems
