My client provides advanced video and image processing hardware and software solutions and they are looking for a new Sales Account Manager to join their growing team and bring on new clients and partnerships. Founded in 2011 as part of a growing consortium of leading global partners, my client aims to serve multiple industry segments, including broadcasting, aerospace & defence, security, video conferencing, medical imaging and telematics.

The position involves playing a key role in the identification of target customers, and their subsequent management and development along the various stages of the sales cycle. This will require strong interpersonal and relationship capabilities, credibility with potential customers, and business acumen; it is one of the most critical activities to drive the future of my client. As the Sales Account Manager, you will be required to:
* Identify, prioritize and assess commercial opportunities - direct and through the company's partners;
* Establish strong Key Account relationships resulting in commercial outcomes;
* Qualify these opportunities and drive advancement along the sales process to closure, supported by Technical Sales team;
* Support, build and manage relationships continually, including ongoing maintenance of the assigned accounts;
* Use Salesforce CRM to detail sales activity, forecasting and reporting;
* Liaise with the 'Delivery' function and Project Managers to ensure successful deployment of implementation projects for the assigned accounts;
* Represent the company at exhibitions and events;
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to drive accounts penetration forward;
* Provide regular status updates to the management team.

Sales Account Manager will ideally have the following skills and experience:
* At least 3 years' technology sales experience both winning new customers and developing established accounts;
* Some experience in the Media sector, and ideally specific experience selling into companies requiring an OTT or IPTV solution;
* Some experience of selling through System Integrator/VAR companies as well as directly;
* Demonstrates understanding of the different customer business models - AVOD, TVOD, SVOD etc;
* Strong commitment and drive to deliver;
* Attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to quality as it relates to reporting, follow-up, CRM use and meeting preparation;
* You will have a proven and consistent track record of sales success;
* Have an ability to successfully build and manage effective relationships with decision makers and influencers within Media accounts;
* Be adaptable and flexible, at ease working in a fast-moving organisation with changes in direction and resetting of priorities;
* Have a 'hunter' approach;
* Be tenacious and detailed in approach to getting the sale;
* Willing to travel internationally on a regular basis, and sensitive to different business cultures across EMEA and APAC;
* Experience of using a CRM (Salesforce) platform to manage sales process;
* Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken;
* Good presentation experience.
