Engineers have to constantly address new challenges and problems, such as global warming, ageing infrastructure and population growth. Portsmouth Water is no different, including maintaining and improvingour treatment works assets to ensure continuous high standard water is supplied to our customers.

This work involvesrefurbishing, replacing and improving our above ground assets, implementing new technologies and improving operational efficiency of works. Working in collaboration with our new Non Infrastructure partners, Bridges, Enisca and Cappagh, whilst ensuring we maintain our high levels of customer service.

We are looking for a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer who has experience in delivering and leading this type of work, who is committed to building and sustaining collaborative relationships through the right behaviours: promoting innovation, embracing change, encouraging honesty, fairness and pragmatism in an open and supportive relationship with our partners, operating at all times in a professional, considerate manner, and all with a positive attitude.

The new member of our team, working at all times within our values of excellence, respect and integrity, will be self-motivated, show initiative and commitment to positive, proactive health and safety. They will also need a full UK driving licence as the role will require travel to various Portsmouth Water sites.

We are looking for a self-starter, potentially qualified to degree level and having chartered status or working towards their professional review.Experience of project management and ideally programme management is also a requirement, having APMP qualification would be an advantage.
