World class innovative communications solutions provider across the four cornerstones of IT Infrastructure; Voice, Data, Mobility and Applications employing 160 staff with a £25m turnover is seeking an Account Manager, Telephone Sales Account Manager with about one year's experience ideally in the Telecommunications, Telephony and/or Mobile sectors.

The role of the Account Manager is to manage a portfolio of customer accounts. The Telephone Sales Account Manager will be responsible for providing a dedicated and high quality account management service to an appointed account base, while delivering against defined commercial, service, retention and sales targets.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

> Main point of contact for all existing clients on an appointed base

> Establish buying requirements of all customers in your remit

> Build and forecast a pipeline in accordance with your base

> Relationship-manage accounts and take ownership of any escalations and issues that may arise

> Continuously build positive customer relationships and deliver a quality experience which exceeds specific targets (CSAT) and ensures minimal churn

> Demonstrate business awareness around revenue and margin when re-signing customers, producing business that meets or exceeds quarterly targets

> Improve profitability by maximising sales of additional products

> Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all available products and services including features and benefits while also maintaining an understanding of the industry

> Participate in all training activities provided

> Provide accurate and timely reports on customers' accounts where appropriate

> Maintain all CRM records relating to each customer interaction with your allocated base

> Develop proposals as required within the selling cycle, documenting all required information in our CRM programme

Essential Skills & Experience

> Telecoms experience preferred

> Account management experience preferred

> Call centre experience (outbound sales and/or service) preferred

> Customer focused

> Previous experience of cross selling/up selling preferred

> Adaptable selling skills with a proven track record of retaining customers

> Strong computer skills including MS Office and use of CRM systems

> Educated to at least 'A' level standard or equivalent.
