Modelling Analyst

Package: up to £55,000 plus fantastic benefits package!
Location: Staines, Surrey

The Role:
As part of their change programme aligning the company's structure with their strategic growth objectives, they fully understand the potential that a strong Modelling & Optimisation team can offer their insight and segmentation activities. You will support the development of propensity and segmentation models for inbound call centres, outbound campaigns and digital channel using SAS, SQL and Hadoop to increase the profitability of the business.

Working closely with CVM Strategy & Planning, Analytics and Insight, you will help deepen customer understanding and improve targeting to ultimately drive increased customer value through better conversion and response.

You will be responsible for data analysis, profiling and modelling activity to increase understanding of the propensity of a customer responding to different offers and messages. You will also take ownership of monitoring model performance and rescore or develop new models as required. You will carry out sensitivity analysis and modelling to continually improve the targeting and commercial performance of product discounts and offers.

Can you:
- Demonstrate over 2 years of experience in an analytical role with experience of segmentation and modelling?
- Show a natural curiosity to proactively questioning and investigating data?
- Implement a best practice approach to campaign value maximisation?
- Use industry leading data and analytical tools such as SAS, SQL and Advanced Excel to interrogate & manipulate data and develop reports?
- Use SAS Enterprise Miner or equivalent modelling tool as well as show knowledge of statistical modelling techniques such as logistic regression, cluster analysis?
- Show strong end-to-end knowledge of data-driven/direct marketing, data-driven sales channels and how these drive value and ROI?
