Backed by over £10.5 million pounds of investment, our client has exciting and ambitious plans for the future.The showroom is open 7 days a week and this is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate who is results orientated to join the team to develop B2B sales across the region.
Our client understands that you are only as good as the people you work with, and that’s why we need to recruit the best available talent to drive their success.We are looking for a dynamic individual to develop their B2B business within the North West of England, creating a 1st class service offering to customers. You’ll already be working within the bathroom and heating supplies industry, preferably selling to developers, OEM manufacturers and M&E contractors.The Role:Based from the Salford store you will be:·Developing and managing B2B sales within the North West of England, reporting directly to the Store Manager. You will be supporting the Store by capitalising on warm trade leads, and will manage your diary in terms of time spent at the store, and conducting visits so that your time is utilised effectively.·Preparing detailed sales and activity reports for the Trading Team.·Working closely with the Trading/Marketing/PR teams to maximise exposure and sales development.·Learning about the organisation's products or services and keeping up to date with changes, contributing to the NPD team.·Keeping ahead of developments in the UK market by reading relevant journals, going to meetings, attending exhibitions (as both an exhibitor and visitor) and relevant training courses.·As a new division of the company the role and responsibilities will grow in line with business requirements, therefore you will be expected to carry out any reasonable task/instruction given during this time.This role would suit an experienced Area Sales Manager looking for a new opportunity to develop their career within a fast moving environment with significant career progression opportunities. As a new role, this is an exciting opportunity to influence a Business Development Model that could be rolled out into future retail stores.The successful candidate will ideally:·Have knowledge of the North West ·Have knowledge of the plumbing & heating market.·Have experience engaging with customers on all levels.·Have a background of working within sales, marketing and trading.·Have excellent time keeping skills and be able to work to strict deadlines.·Be self-motivated and driven to succeed.·Be able to bring in new ideas, make suggestions, and deliver business goals.·Be analytical with the ability to sum up, think outside of the box, and be curious.Key Skills:·Ability & confidence to communicate at all levels.·Ability to interpret and anticipate trends.·Good commercial instinct & general awareness.·Good presentation skills – both written and verbal.·Equally at home working on your own or as part of a team.·IT literate.·Full UK Driving License with a minimum TWO years driving experience and a Maximum 6 Points (no DD or IN endorsements).·Ability to prioritise workload and work accurately under pressure.What’s in it for me?·Basic salary: Up to £25,000 per year (based on experience).·Company Car: BMW 1 Series·OTE £37,000 per year·Communications Package: Mobile Phone, Tablet & Laptop.·Quarterly Bonus·Usual large company benefits available after qualifying period, including health benefit scheme and company contributory pension.·As a fast growing business, the sky is the limit for the right candidate to progress and develop.
