Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager based at their Waterlooville office. This is a progressive fast-moving company specialising in providing high quality door and shutter products for clients in the Retail; Community; Construction; and Industrial sectors.

Job Role: To work with the sales and operations teams to manage projects from order through to successful handover and completion. The role is office based, however it will also require travel for client meetings, site surveys and occasional site supervision; their customers are located throughout England and Wales, although the majority of work is in the South, London & the Midlands so the job will require quite a lot of travelling and the occasional night away from home.
Experience: Ideally successful candidates will have previous relevant experience in the industrial door or other similar industries. Alternatively, project management experience within the construction industry will be beneficial. Some experience/understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering would be beneficial.
Training: Our client believes in life-long learning and will provide product-specific training and also support other learning and development in areas such as Health & Safety; Project Management Training; and other professional development.
Other Skills: This is a high-pressure and demanding role, managing multiple projects with a wide variety of clients, products and services to think about. Candidates will need to be good communicators, both with the customer and colleagues in the office as well as suppliers. Also required is a methodical, process-led approach to ensure deadlines are met and nothing is dropped.

Hours: Typically, 7:00 to 16:30, however flexibility is required depending on client needs and travel distances etc. additional the engineers will sometimes start earlier and it may be necessary to meet them at the office.

Package:
Salary in the region of £35K - £40k dependant on experience
