We are working with our client to find a UK and Export Account Manager to join their successful global sales team.

My client are a dynamic market leader, with innovative and ground breaking products being released all the time. They are passionate about the product they make and the community they are an active and prominent part of. They invent, manufacture, sell and distribute their products to retailers in the UK and around the world.

It is pivotal that you have experience of selling a product in to independent retailers and large retail groups. You may have managed the account for a massive national supermarket chain, or a regional chain of shops. If you have experience of distribution to retailers, are looking for career growth and success, then this is a fantastic opportunity.

The purpose of the role:

  • Building and developing customer relationships
  • Regular communication and contact maintenance to existing accounts.
  • Plan, Develop and implement account and territory specific action plans
  • Analysing customer trends and sales performance to maximise business
  • Taking ownership and responsibility for agreed territories and retail accounts
  • Implementing agreed territory specific marketing strategy
  • Meeting customers both in the UK and overseas to build relationships and develop territory understanding
  • Responding to and handling inbound customer requests
  • Supporting and assisting International Sales Manager in wider sales projects and events
  • The potential to manage UK national retail accounts
  • Monitor and report on market and completion and provide relevant reports and information
  • To achieve sales targets and objectives set by the International Sales Manager
  • New business generation through cold calling and investigating leads
  • The ideal candidate will be a proactive, positive, enthusiastic go getter, with a successful track record in B2B sales. You will need to have dealt with major UK retailers and have experience and understanding of the distribution and retail sales models.

    The position offers a generous basic salary of up to £26,000 (depending on your experience) and the ability to earn another £10,000 bonus over the course of the year. The company is bright and lively, with a strong work ethic and rewards for a job well done.
