The role:

The purpose of this role is to deliver detailed customer understanding through the effective use of customer data analysis techniques to assist profitable management of customers through greater engagement, acquisition, improved retention, effective cross sell and cost to serve.

What will you be doing:
  • Deliver customer insight analysis which supports business decision making and tactical delivery, with a high level of independence.
  • Utilise the most appropriate data analysis techniques and tool sets to deliver actionable customer intelligence in the most efficient manner.
  • Undertake analysis which quantifies marketing opportunities, with up-to-date knowledge of business targets and progress.
  • Utilisation of statistical models that aid understanding of customer risk, value and behaviour, consistently using the most appropriate techniques.
  • Proactively ensure effective use of model scores and flags in marketing campaigns.

We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiast Insight Analyst or Data Science/Analytics professional, with customer insight/analytical experience, excellent data interpretation skills and flawless attention to detail. To be successful in this position you will also need to have had exposure to advanced data mining and statistical techniques, the utilisation of statistical models that aid understanding of customer risk, value and behaviour.

Technically, we are looking for skills in analytics software such as SAS and SQL. However, equally important are your personal attributes: we're interested in someone who is energetic, passionate, driven and enjoys working with leading edge solutions and being at the forefront of technology and analysis solutions. We need someone who is always going to be looking to exceed expectations, seek out new approaches and constantly challenge with ideas and different data sources and approach to drive innovation insights.
