60 branches, a customer base of 100,000 retailers and a product range of over 25,000 items - Bestway is the largest independent food wholesaler in the UK. We’ve achieved our success by offering the best prices, service and choice to help retailers build their businesses. And we’re looking for the best Business Development Executives to continue building ours.

And build it you will, as you draw on your business development experience to recruit, develop and mentor retailers in your area, making sure they order on time and comply with our terms and conditions. Increasing sales and margin to achieve and exceed company budgets, you’ll introduce retailers to new products and services, monitor sales targets and account trends. But that’s not all - your responsibilities will also include reporting on competitors, ensuring compliance checking and managing capital investment so the company receives the desired returns.

We’re looking for motivated, dynamic people with a background in independent retail and plenty of experience when it comes to delivering area budgets and growing market share. You’ll have a good knowledge of category management, store development and budget planning. With an aptitude for problem solving and a clean driving licence, you’ll also be a confident people person who can build successful business relationships.
