My client is a growing Financial Services Business, based in London. They are looking for a Compensation & Benefits Analyst to join them initially on a 12 month FTC basis with review and possible extension. The focus of the role is the day to day management of all employee benefits for the EMEA employee population and suporting all compensation deliverables.

The role's day to day will include:

Benefits:

  • Day to day responsibility for EMEA benefits, including benefits administration for new hires, leavers, transfers, and other changes
  • Pension - provide full support for employees across all departments as well as the pension trustees for all pension issues including day to day management of the scheme where applicable
  • Day to day handling of queries and issues raised both from internal sources and from providers
  • Annual renewals of benefits with a focus on cost control and value for money
  • Ongoing benefit reviews to ensure competiveness, satisfaction, cost effectiveness and utilisation
  • Provide timely and accurate reports to Payroll & liaise regarding salary sacrifice contributions

Communications:

  • Create and maintain benefit communications for all EMEA benefits, including detailed benefit summaries for each country

Harmonisation of Benefits:

  • Consult with the Benefits Lead in advance of all annual benefit renewals and changes
  • Work towards consistency in approach to benefits, reporting, providers, vendor management and expectations in light of the forthcoming harmonisation
  • Work in partnership with the EMEA benefits team on the harmonisation of benefits and to streamline vendors and brokers and apply consistency in processes when appropriate to do so

Reporting:

  • Design and implement meaningful MI reporting on all Benefits matters

Data Management:

  • Ensure that all employees individual benefits data is entered accurately into Workday (or other relevant system) in a consistent format and on a timely basis

Compensation

Compensation Data

  • Maintaining accuracy of compensation data in Workday and providing reports as and when necessary (such as global requests for Rem Com - including top earners & top 100 infrastructure)
  • Providing standard reports and creating new reports

Benchmarking

  • Providing compensation data to benchmarking providers/internal stakeholders

Annual Discretionary Pay and Bonus Review (Regional and Global)

  • Manage the process of population checks, comp validation, modelling data, building of pools, approvals, instructions to payroll and reporting

Other

  • Manage Payroll input for HR and specialist Compensation & Benefits input e.g. LTIP etc
  • Assist with compensation related projects e.g. process improvements, gender pay reporting, policy development and implementation etc
  • Advise on expatriate compensation queries
  • Provide support to other HR offices as and when required
  • Undertake projects or tasks as required

Person Specification

  • Experience of working in the UK reward arena - knowledge of EMEA compensation & benefits not essential but useful
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Strong data analysis skills to support business case for any recommended actions
  • Attention to detail is key
  • Strong excel skills required
  • Knowledge of Workday preferable but not essential
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally
  • Manage project independently
