A formidable brand and start-up organisation is currently seeking a creative, strategic and powerful Head of People.

This is a role where you will be very independent, thrive in a role that gets you stuck into the day-to-day operations of HR but also partner the founder of the business in looking forward, and establishing a influential people agenda and strategy.

You will be responsible for creating an environment that enables people to be the best they can be. You will support a work place which enables Managers to recognise great performance and enable growth at all levels within the business.

You will be:

- Ambitious, passionate and fanatical about the impact a strong HR strategy can bring
- Successful in leading, managing and developing a people function with a high-growth business OR have played a fundamental part in doing this, and ready for your first stand-alone leadership role
- Outstanding People generalist who has worked across all relevant specialisms including Talent, HR services, Employee Relations and Learning and Development
- Experienced in working alongside diverse and crazy stakeholders, from entry level to senior management
- Passionate about training and managing a team
- A strong talent hunter, finding great people with a brilliant track record
- An outstanding individual who can create exciting strategies to deliver growth, turn this in to practical plans whilst having fun. Lots of fun
- Commercial, with a real eye for business. Let the dragon see the den!

You will get excited at the following:

- Working with the Founder to create and implement a 2017 HR Strategy in line with the wider business strategy.
- Mentor, lead and grow the team to execute their crazy ambitious plans
- Plan and maintain a training and development programme for the team.
- Ensure that everyone in the team receives career objectives and that their annual reviews are conducted appropriately.
- Effectively manage a team to ensure that they are delivering against objectives.
- Manage the annual recruitment budget, the annual culture budget and the annual training budget.
- Oversee all general HR issues and administration.
