The world’s greatest sports fashion retail brand - known globally as the leaders in their field is seeking a field based Visual Merchandising Specialist working on a freelance basis - with positions expanding into full-time roles in some areas.

Known for their innovative sporting technologies and fashion-forward branding, as well as their exceptional visual merchandising standards across the globe, this business is seeking to extend their pool of VM staff to work in stores across the London & South East region.

As the Visual Merchandising Specialist your duties will be to:


 
  • Transform the retail landscape by bringing impeccable product display principles, category merchandising, and brand vision together - ensuring excellence across all retail stores.
  • Be responsible for generating awareness and sales through presentations that create meaningful consumer retail experiences.
  • Manage, coach and develop the in-store product presentation - partnering with the brand merchandising team to support the development of in-store signage, windows and in-store creative elements in order to create a real connection with consumers.
  • Build constructive and effective relationships with key stakeholders in the business, including marketing, inventory, store design, and design and field merchandising, to make sure that brand initiatives and merchandising goals are consistently met.
  • Participate and lead new store openings and remodels to ensure they open successfully and with a flawless attention to detail.



To be a successful Visual Merchandising Specialist you will have the following skills and experience:


 
  • Retail visual merchandising and display experience, gained in a large store or multi store environment, managing high profile campaigns in an extremely fast paced environment.
  • Demonstrated strength in product merchandising, fixture development, display development and integrated marketing programs.
  • Strong understanding of the consumer and how visual merchandising supports an exceptional customer experience and drives business.
  • Proven experience developing and communicating seasonal visual merchandising presentation guidelines / directives.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience presenting in formal and informal settings.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience managing field Visual Merchandising teams.



In return, the Visual Merchandising Specialist will receive a salary of £19,000 pro rata, depending on location / experience.
