SALARY: £18,000 - £21,000 Basic Salary / £25,000 OTE (uncapped commission)

Working as the B2B Business Development Sales Executive / Customer Services Account Manager you will join the team to help increase the Company’s market share within Bristol.

As the B2B Business Development Sales Executive / Customer Services Account Manager you will predominately be focussed on selling the Company’s services and developing new clients. However, this job will also include some marketing, such as Social Media Marketing, Email Campaigns etc. You will also ensure that clients receive a first class customer experience and you will play an active role in customer retentions.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as the B2B Business Development Sales Executive / Customer Services Account Manager:

  • Provide first class customer service to existing and potential clients. Building strong relationships to maintain customer retention is key
  • Co-create a sales plan and follow the plan prescriptively to attract and gain new clients
  • Research potential client bases to find new opportunities
  • Proactively make outbound calls to generate interest and actively warm up cold leads
  • Take those warm leads and arrange Director led appointments accordingly
  • Carry out email campaigns
  • Drive forward the social media marketing
  • Make the services appeal to the target market
  • Persist in selling even in the face of adversity
  • Find ways to sell the service even in challenging times
  • Actively use and manage the Company’s CRM software alongside further specialised software
  • Successfully work to/manage timescales and targets
  • Receive client queries and take action as required
  • Work closely with the Company Head Office to promote the brand further
  • Action and complete ad-hock administration tasks assigned to you by your Manager
  • IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous new business development and account management skills would be highly desirable
  • Excellent telephone manner with the ability to build rapport quickly with customers, whilst providing a professional first class level of service
  • Excellent negotiating and closing skills
  • Ability to build long-term customer relationships
  • Must be results and target driven
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Any experience working within the logistics, courier, parcel, postal delivery industry would be highly desirable, although not essential. Experience in all sectors will be considered
  • Must have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Must be conscientious, flexible and take a positive approach to your work
  • Must be a people’s person
  • Must be motivated, proactive, driven, self-sufficient and have a sense of urgency
  • Must be organised and systems orientated
  • Must have common sense and an ‘I can do’ attitude
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
