We have been asked to recruit 2 Embedded Software Engineers with experience in Linux or Windows Driver or kernel mode development for a silicon research and development centre near London.  The company have a number of aces up their sleeve and are committed long term to making worldwide waves in their market - your work will focus on enhancing & improving the performance of future generation platforms.  The embedded software engineers will also be responsible for providing internal and external feedback to implement upcoming features in yet-to-be-released OS versions.

These are very “hands-on” development roles and would suit embedded software engineers who are keen to focus on a purely technical career path and can take a lead role in design projects.

Suitable Embedded Software Engineers require a relevant technical degree and a minimum of two years experience in Linux or Windows Driver or kernel mode development, excellent C/C++ skills, with specific experience of the general requirements of kernel mode and embedded systems programming, as well as the specifics of an embedded Windows or Linux platform (Android particularly desirable).  This should include a firm understanding of the underlying hardware of such systems and their constraints and requirements. 

Candidates must also possess excellent problem solving and communication skills.
