The Role

An ambitious Newly Qualified Property Solicitor is now required for a busy legal department in West Hampstead. Hitting the ground running you will manage an interesting and varied caseload from inception to completion in areas including: Freehold and Leasehold, Acquisition and Sales, Joint ownership agreements, Buy to Let, Right to Buy, Planning matters, Remortgaging, Landlord and Tenant, Property Management, Lease Extensions and Collective Enfranchisement, Planning, Conversions and Grant of Lease, and Transfers of Equity. With a flair for business development, you will participate in activities to promote the services of the department and firm as a whole and build and maintain client relationships. The Candidate:

You will have a minimum of 2 years experience within Residential Conveyancing
You must have recent experience dealing with conveyancing, leasehold enfranchisement (both houses and flats), right to manage and landlord & tenant matters
You must have excellent levels of client contact and responsibility
You must be assertive in getting key decisions from clients
You must be able to build common purpose and lead Clients that are 'groups’
You must be focused on the end game with a desire to push through the process
You must be someone who enjoys explaining complex legislation in simple terms.
