My leading Global IT client are looking for a Non Production Environment Manager to work on one of their Retail client sites in Victoria, London.

Key Responsibilities

Work with project team to define environment requirement

Provide estimates and manage provisioning of Environments - Infrastructure, new builds and setup/refresh/reuse of existing environment

Timely and efficient communication with stakeholders, project management team on progress, issues and risks

Responsible for planning delivery of test environment as per requirements

Define Environment management processes, automations

Identify process improvements and make constructive suggestions

Manage risks and issues

Lead a team of Environment Analysts

Liaise between project team, Dev/test teams, infrastructure team

Ensure release plans are produced and communicated to the team

Provide expertise to resolve issues quickly and efficiently

Act as escalation point for any Environment issues

Forecast environment requirement

Skills required

Strong Stakeholder management experience

Experience in implementing Industry best practice tools, methodologies and processes

At least 5 years’ experience in Environment Management role

Experience of working with multiple technologies, multiple teams and 3rd parties

Experience in DevOps tools such as Puppet, Ansible etc.

Knowledge of release management, processes, tools and techniques

Knowledge of tools - ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence

Strong prioritisation and time management skills

Domain knowledge - Retail

Technical knowledge - Mainframe, Java, .net, MQ, Web methods, Ab initio, DB2, SQL Server
