Business Development Executive - Memberships
Our client, an architectural membership body, are embarking on an ambitious new year with new targets in membership, they are looking for a dynamic and proactive Membership Development Executive to help develop and grow the membership in 2017. This role is a 7 month fixed term contract starting on 6th March, based in London.
Working in close collaboration with other departments, you will report to the Membership Development Manager.
Working as part of a team you will help develop and deliver the Membership recruitment plan to meet agreed annual targets. This will be delivered through developing new business relationships to proactively build a solid deliverable pipeline for new business and developing and managing initiatives and campaigns to raise the profile and awareness of their services to potential members.
You'll be an excellent all-round communicator with the ability to consider opportunities to recruit new members and assess the risk or impact, a positive attitude and with strong experience of achieving within a structure and target driven environment. You will have excellent questioning and listening skills to understand client needs, with experience of presenting to and engaging with clients at a senior level to win business. You will also need excellent knowledge of CRM database management.
You will be able to quickly understand complex issues and themes. It would be preferable to have an understanding of membership organisations and architecture, but this is not essential.
