My clients' are a global investment bank based inCanaryWharf. They currently have a requirement for a HR Manager to join the team.

You will be involved in the development of the business unit's strategy from both a commercial and HR perspective and will be an integral member of the business unit leadership team, contributing and influencing in order to improve business performance.

Key responsibilities:

Develop, drive and implement the HR strategy for your assigned business unit

Co-ordinate and influence in-country HR colleagues acrossEurope

Understand key performance issues and objectives and drive the HR agenda

Develop effective relationships with senior managers, working with them to develop solutions to meet their business needs

Coach, challenge and advise managers on OE and HR issues

Provide sound advice on all HR issues such as reward, talent, performance, OD, change, culture and leadership.

Work closely with Centres of Excellence to proactively identify and influence changes to improve HR service

You will have experience working in the banking sector, and will have:

Excellent technical HR knowledge

A strong commercial approach with a good understanding of business needs

Proven experience of working in partnership with line managers in order to improve people management practices

Experience supporting an International client group

Proven ability to identify 'potential', develop and retain talent

Knowledge of and experience of implementing best practice HR solutions to drive a high performance culture

Experience of coaching and influencing line managers

Strong communication skills and able to negotiate and influence effectively with all levels of the organisation
