NATIONAL ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

WEST LONDON

This is a fantastic opportunity to become a National Account Executive for a global FMCG company within the Grocery channel.

The client is a market leading, well known brand with good trading relationships with the top 4 grocers. They believe in their people and have a great culture with a strong supporting network and invest heavily in training and development. The role is available due to internal promotion as they encourage organic growth within the company. There is excellent career potential and growth for the right person.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Supporting, implementing and monitoring Joint Business plans.
-Achieve Net Revenue, Gross Margin, 4P targets (Product, Placement, Price & Promotion) & Net Working Capital targets for the account
-Working with the in-store merchandising team to deliver best practice in-store sales execution, on shelf availability and promotional compliance
-Assisting negotiations of pricing and promotional plans
-Monitoring competitor activity and market trends
-Managing a section of the P&L
-Identifying growth opportunities and building customer relationships

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
-Have managed part of a P&L
-Be educated to a high standard, with sales experience gained in FMCG, OTC or Retail
-Have strong communication and negotiation skills
-Be highly motivated with strong commercial awareness and the ability to use commercial knowledge to increase profit and business growth
-Be ambitious, driven and work autonomously when needed, in order to develop into a NAM in the next year
