Community Legacy Manager - London
Hours: Full time, 35 per week.

Salary: circa GBP 27,000 per annum
About the role
Are you a passionate presenter who enjoys meeting and building relationships with supporters? The British Red Cross has a rare opportunity for you to join the team as a Community Legacy Manager.
You will be responsible for increasing the number and value of gifts in wills left to BRC by communicating to internal and external supporters the difference their gift will make to the lives of vulnerable people in crisis. You will manage an exciting programme of information events to inspire new supporters as well as delivering a stewardship plan to maintain existing support and grow income.

Our volunteers and staff help people in crisis to live independently by providing support at home, mobility aids and transport. We also teach first aid skills.

About the team
The British Red Cross Fundraising division raises in excess of GBP 175m per annum and employs around 900 staff across the country. The community fundraising team are based throughout the UK, and consist of paid staff along with fundraising volunteers. The team raise funds by building and developing relationships with inidividuals, organisations and companies in the local community.
About the person
TheCommunity Legacy Manager will be confident working independently with focus,passion and enthusiasm. You will excel in delivering engaging, informative andeffective presentations to varied audiences, and will exhibit first classcommunication skills. Passion and enthusiasm are crucial to this role, and ifyou have experience in a relationship building or a customer focused role wewould love to hear from you.
