One of the region’s leading Telecoms providers based out of modern offices in Farnborough, the company sells and supports BT Local Business with Telecommunications, Cloud, Fixed, Mobile services to SME businesses across south central England.

They are now seeking an additional Business Developer, Sales Account Manager ideally from a Telephony/Telecoms background, however training will be provided.

Working to a predefined set of objectives and sales targets the Business Development Executive is a field based sales agent required to identify and close opportunities within the top end of the SME market place across the entire product set but with a focus on Telephone Switch, Cloud, and Data products and Services

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

> Achieve defined order targets and goals, in particular Communications Systems - both Cloud and customer premise equipment, through pro-active Fieldsales contact with existing customers and new businesses.

> Set customer meetings to ensure a full weekly sales diary

> Sell the full range of products and services, pro-actively up-selling and cross-selling new products and services to these customers.

> Ensure customers are fully aware of us and the full range of products and services that can be provided, along with their business benefits.

> Protect the existing customers from competitive attack. > Work in a manner consistent with the Fieldsales KPIs.

> Comprehensively use the marketing campaigns to promote focused products and services to the customer base.

> Ensure all customer details, information and interaction are entered into the systems in a timely and complete manner.

> Adhere to regulatory and other processes as detailed in the Operations Manual.

Essential Skills & Experience

> Proven and successful face to face telecoms or mobile sales experience

> Product, Service and Systems knowledge and skills - (these will be introduced and developed during training)

> Customer & Industry Awareness - Understanding of Telecoms, particularly in relation to SMEs > Systems - The ability to use the business systems and processes in operation within BT Local Business e.g. Salesforce.

> Knowledge of the capabilities and business benefits of the Company’s (telephone switch and Cloud) product portfolio (after full product training)

> Knowledge of the capabilities and business benefits of the Voice/Mobile product portfolio (after product training).

> Understanding of the competitive product and service offerings. Able to differentiate BT products and services effectively and persuasively.

> Basic understanding of Business Finance

> Basic understanding of the technology and the associated jargon.
