Payroll Assistant required for 4 month FTC, full time, £21k p.a., immediate start

You will be working for a market leading medical establishment, which has a presence across Europe and is the biggest of it's kind.
Your new role
You will be joining a busy Payroll department, updating payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers, preparing reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages, resolving payroll discrepancies and maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting any needed changes. you will maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential. Working hours are 9am to 5:30pm.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have good computer literacy skills including excel, and high volume payroll administration skills (processing approximately 4,500 employees each month). You will be well-organised and communicate well, and be happy working as part of a team. A payroll qualification and previous experience of working within a shared service centre environment are desirable, but not essential.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary equivalent to £21k p.a. for the 4 month duration of the contract. You will be working within a bright, modern office environment, and will receive free on-site parking.
