Instructional Designer (Computer Science Degree) required by my amazing international software client in central London.

As the Instructional Designer you will possess a degree in Computer Science or alternatively have very strong technical software or programming background as you will need to understand highly technical software.

As the Instructional Designer you will be required to take responsibility for creating and developing the clients 'Training and Accreditation' course from scratch; proactively and systematically develop and improve product documentation; write small scripts and code such as basic scripting and programming capabilities, creating simple integrations and in making the client more agile in creating content.

Role Requirements:

  • Computer Science Degree or a very strong technical software or programming background
  • Strong Instructional Design background or experience of creating and developing class-leading training programmes from scratch
  • Experience of creating and developing product information such as How To, Technical Reference, FAQ's, Release Notes and Quick Start Guides would be beneficial
  • Ability to adapt and learn new skills quickly
  • Ability to turn highly technical information into simplified language
  • Occasional travel to clients other offices (International Travel)
  • Experience of Madpak Suite (particularly Madcap Flare) is highly desirable
  • Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills
