An exciting opportunity has arisen with a Central Government Agency for an immediately available, part time Management Accountant (3 days per week). They will require a proactive person and can offer great training programmes to help their professional development.

Key responsibilities:
-Liaising with the agencies overseas Finance Managers to ensure that the correct information is received for the monthly and quarterly reporting.
-Assisting with the production of the divisional management accounts, both monthly and quarterly and producing the commentary for meetings.
-Supporting the annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting process and ensuring the Management Information Systems hold the latest information.
-Creating reports for budget holders, continually reviewing and improving the reporting process along the way
-Adhoc duties required by the rest of the team

Essential Requirements:
-Can be a part qualified or qualified by experience
-Must have extensive management accounting experience
-Must have experience of communicating with budget holders
-Must have intermediate excel skills including vlookup, sumif, pivot tables
-Must have previous experience of working in a government organisation
-Must have experience of working with overseas offices
