Due to restructuring of the Payroll department and new senior leadership my client is recruiting for a number of positions within the payroll team. We would like to hear from candidates with a minimum 18 months experience in payroll who are looking for the next step. The business is based in the South Birmingham area.

Ideal candidates will have experience of end to end payroll processing, strong technical knowledge and up to date with current legislation. It is crucial you have the ability produce accurate work within a pressurised fast paced environment.

  • In depth end to end Payroll knowledge

  • Monthly reconciliation

  • PAYE balancing

  • Knowledge of statutory payments (SSP / SMP / SPP / SAP)

  • Process P11d / P45 / P46

  • Auto enrolment experience

  • Knowledge of Court orders & Student loans

  • Tupe transfer knowledge

  • The ability to work to strict deadlines

  • Excellent customer service & communication skills

  • Resolve all payroll queries

  • Analytical & problem solving skills
