Should you be successful in application for this job in merchandising, planning, and strategy you will have the opportunity to work with a number of suppliers from all over the world.

Duties

Your duties will include ensuring all stock levels are accurately planned, maintained and fulfilled for all major retailers, and strategic planning for the department from a short-term and long-term perspective.

You will work alongside the Head of Department, who will support you and oversee your work. You will also have the opportunity to manage a junior team member, and share your experience and ideas collaboratively with the team. Your role within the company will be key to the business growth, success and daily operation.

You will be working in an energetic and busy and fun office environment with a collaborative, personable team. The nearby high street is home to cafes and shops for lunch and general conveniences.

You will be a merchandising planner with at least 5 years’ experience in similar roles, looking for your next move. Everyone in this business is committed to delivering a high quality product to the highest standard, and also buy in to the companies’ fundamental values of a strong work ethic for maximum reward. You will possess knowledge of delivering orders DDP, EXW, FOB, preferably supplying supermarkets, and major retailers and have an excellent record of maintaining stock levels and planning accurately. You will be a confident self-starter with a good sense of humour, relish working within a team environment, remain calm under pressure, and pride yourself on your high level organisation skills, critical thinking, and exceptional attention to detail.
