Team Leader Social Care
My client is looking for a Team Leader to join their organisation within the Westminster area, it is a 6 bedded home for older people with dementia and adults with a learning disability. You must have experience of organised care of older people and an understanding of current issues within the Social Care sector. Relevant NVQ qualifications in Health & Social Care, and ideally a management qualification or relevant supervisory training.
This position is for 39 Hours per week on a shift system, between the hours of 07.30 and 22.00. Occasional sleeping-in on call duties may be required in emergencies.
You will be required to supervise all aspects of the care, comfort, emotional well-being and safety of the residents, leading the staff team on duty at any time to contribute to and follow a personalised care plan for each individual; including care and support, administrative, laundry, housekeeping, maintenance and catering services and to support the Home Manager with all aspects of the operation of a high quality, 24 hour care home service to older people with physical or cognitive impairment and/or dementia.
