Regional Operations Manager - Healthcare

London and the South East Region

£50,000 - £60,000 + Company Car, Benefits & Bonus

This is a fantastic opportunity for a high performing experienced Regional Operations Manager to join the senior management team of Helping Hands a rapidly evolving and growing Organisation.

Due to business growth we are looking for a Regional Operations Manager to take full responsibility for the operational performance and management of our Hourly Domiciliary Homecare Branches across London and the South East. Reporting to the Operations Director this is a key leadership role where you will have a real influence on the business culture, practices and growth and will lead, develop and drive the business performance and quality of care across the branches.

You will manage a number of existing branches and also be involved in the start up of new domiciliary care branches. Managing and developing branch managers you will take accountability for hourly business growth and financial performance. In addition you will also assist to identify new branch locations and be involved in mobilising new branch set up.

Main Responsibilities

  • To promote the highest standards of care and service - ensuring quality standards are maintained across all activity for customers and carers in regional branches.
  • Ensure business growth and profitability is maximised across the regional domiciliary care branch network
  • Enhance the profitability of the business - set challenging business plans and budgets and KPI’s and manage performance against these. You will ensure revenues are generated and costs are controlled.
  • Be responsible for people including development, retention, supervision, management, recruitment and succession planning.
  • Risk management for all activity across domiciliary care branches including meeting all legislative requirements
  • Ensure service standards are met or exceeded across the branch network
  • Strategic development to ensure that Helping Hands continues to be a market leading provider of care.
  • Take on an active leadership role - a visible leader in the business, driving change and promoting innovation

Who you are

  • The successful candidate for this role will have a proven track record of working in a fast paced regional role and have solid operational and domiciliary experience. They will also ideally have been a registered manager. They will be able to demonstrate commercial acumen and will have delivered a customer facing service within budget and achieving KPIs.
  • They will have managed regional domiciliary care branches and developed Branch Managers.
  • It is important that the candidate is an inspirational leader and can motivate their team to achieve success. They will be a highly skilled influencer, demonstrating outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • They will also have strong organizational skills, be able to multi-task and reprioritise at short notice and be an effective communicator alongside an eye for detail and the ability to analyse and produce reports.
  • They will work well under pressure and take accountability to ensure that their branches are operating at optimum performance levels.
