Purpose of Role:

The primary purpose of this role is to support in ensuring that SULCo’s creative outputs (collateral, social banners, site visuals etc.) are on brand, consistent, print-ready and aid in clearly communicating the Start Up Loans product offering and, ultimately, assist in driving converted drawn down loans.

To achieve this primary objective, this role will be involved in designing and producing artwork for flyers, posters, brochures, social media content and the SULCo website, as well as assisting in creating artwork for Display ads and content for affiliates.

This role should also support the marketing team and wider cross company design needs in regards to providing artwork and imagery for company presentations and reports.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Artworking of all collateral needed for events, such as flyers, banners, posters, business cards and name badges.
  2. Creation of banners, imagery and other design-led content for social media.
  3. Managing all design and imagery used on the SULCo website.
  4. Maintaining a thorough database of imagery.
  5. Supporting with design for Google Display adverts and private market places adverts.
  6. Providing graphics and creative support for any video production.
  7. Designing and creating whitepaper brochures and other content for the SULCo website.
  8. Assisting in maintaining the SULCo brand across affiliate and delivery partner networks.
  9. Creating a variety of infographics for use in company presentations, internal and external reports, for use in PR outreach and for the SULCo website.
  10. Assisting in production of collateral to be integrated with any ATL campaigns.
  11. Provide general support for to the Digital Content manager as required to ensure a smooth and efficient digital marketing function and on ad-hoc projects.
  12. Build and maintain effective and productive working relationships with colleagues and our third party suppliers and support the company’s mission.

Professional / Personal Skills and Experience:

  • Educated to Degree level in Graphic Design or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years graphic design experience in a similar company or marketing team, preferably in-house.
  • Solid knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (inc. Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
  • Knowledge of standard Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
  • Experienced with both Mac and Windows PC platforms.
  • A portfolio showing a range of design work including examples of: flyers, brochures, infographics, Display ads and social media banners.
  • Some experience with brand management and guardianship.
  • Experience handling external printers, with knowledge of print processes and creating print-ready artwork.
  • Experience with video editing is desirable though not essential.
  • Previous experience managing creative design projects.
