Apprenticeship Coordinator

Salary: up to £21,000

Hours: 37 hours per week

A fantastic opportunity has arisen at Southampton City College due to the continued increase of apprentices in the Engineering and Construction sectors we are seeking a confident and target driven individual to become our Apprentice Coordinator for these curriculum areas.

This role requires an individual with a high degree of customer service who can provide employers and learners with exceptional ongoing support throughout the apprenticeship period.

The post will involve you liaising with our present and new employers to identify apprentice training needs and supporting them in both their place of work and at college to achieve their NVQ and related qualifications. You will also carry out learner reviews and liaise with employers to ensure the learners are progressing and developing within the working environment.

There will be the need to work with teachers and assessors within the curriculum areas to ensure learners receive an outstanding level of teaching and learning and NVQ progression is clearly monitored and achieved.

For you to be successful in this role you will need excellent communication skills, high levels of motivation, a methodical approach to work and have the ability to work as part of a team.
