Our client is the UK's leading dementia charity. They provide information and support, improve care, fund research, and create lasting change for people affected by dementia. 

West Essex Singing for the Brain service provides weekly facilitated structured group sessions for people living with dementia and their carers. At the sessions people participate in singing and gentle exercise, with an emphasis on enjoyment, social interaction and active participation. This service rotates in 12 weekly programmes between Harlow and Epping to ensure that everyone in the area benefits from this popular service. In this role you will use your communication skills and expertise to co-ordinate, organise and facilitate the sessions. In addition, your knowledge and expertise in delivering engaging, stimulating and fun group sessions will also be valuable. 

Experience in running musical groups is essential, along with an understanding of the needs of people living with dementia and their carers. An ability to travel independently around the West Essex area is essential as the post will involve working in a range of community settings. 

Due to the nature of the role, a satisfactory DBS result will be required.
