Development Manager Delivery
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Development Manager – Delivery to join their team in London. The successful applicant will join them on a full time permanent basis and will receive a competitive salary of £46,000 - £50,000 per annum.
When you join them, you join an extensive and growing business. One with 27,000 homes, 70,000 residents and a 150-year history. As a major housing association they have outstanding challenges for people with talent and motivation. But they also have a strong commitment to the ideals of their philanthropist founder. That means you’ll have every chance to achieve – while making a difference.
Their principles are simple: they believe in helping people and communities to grow, in estates that are springboards – not safety nets. With operations in nearly every London borough and one of the sector’s largest community regeneration programmes, they’re always keen to meet talented people who support their ambitions.
Our client and another group are well advanced with arrangements to merge later this year. The new group will build on the track record, capabilities and shared values of both groups to create a truly distinctive organisation. Both organisations have a long and successful history of developing in London and by joining together and consolidating resources, they can invest more and build more in London.
The combined organisation will be the number one housing provider in five boroughs and the in top three in a further eight boroughs. With a total of 55,000 homes, they will be one of the biggest London-focused housing associations.
They have a great opportunity for an experienced Development Manager – Delivery to join them, to manage the planning, procurement, construction and handover of new build mixed tenure and mixed use developments and junior staff members as appropriate.
